The Trek Arrangement
Our local operators are some of the most established and reliable agents in the trekking business. The trek may either be arranged on tea-house or full-organized camping basis. It is one that is self-sufficient with guides, cooks, and porters to take care of all the technical and logistical aspects of the trip. Everyday, the camp will be set up by the trekking staff, food cooked by trained and professional cooks. On most treks there will be support to carry your equipment and most of your baggage, this can range from sherpas and other local peoples to yaks or horses. You will usually be expected to carry a small daysack with water and other personal items for the day.
Trip Difficulty Rating
Our trips are graded from Easy to Expedition Grade levels. Rating for each trek is available on each individal trip page.
Good physical conditioning is required for all treks. Although you don’t have to be superhumanly fit, it is always true to say that the fitter you are the more you will enjoy your trekking holiday. In general, participants should be able to hike long distances of up to 6-7 continuous hours on some days. A pre-trip physical conditioning programme consisting of at least 3 sessions per week for at least 3 months prior to trip departure is recommended for the average person.
Finally, age is no barrier to trekking, and it is not uncommon to find clients 55 years and above on our trips. As long as you are reasonably fit (physically and medically), have a spirit of adventure and are not afraid of walking, then a trekking holiday is for you.

What Other Important Notes Do I Need To Be Aware Of ?
Our treks are in essence, OUTDOOR trips to relatively undeveloped Third World regions. In any adventure trip, there may be occasions of delay or change to itineraries, logistical breakdowns, or plain bad weather which would result in various inconveniences to participants. Occasionally, things that happen may require changes to be made. In such instances we will do our best to minimise the impact any inconveniences may have on you. We request that you undertake the trip with an open mind and an open heart ... only then would you be able to appreciate this type of travel.
Any Other Things Do I Need To Know?

As this booklet is specially prepared by us, it is not available from any other company.
