10 Days Morocco Mt M'goun Traverse
Mt M'goun, at 4,071m, just under 100m lower than Jebel Toubkal, is the second highest peak in North Africa. Dominating the remote central High Atlas, it offers great scope for trekkers who are rewarded by dramatic ridges, escarpments and gorges.
Bou Gourmez Valley has been nicknamed Happy Valley and described as "the best kept secret in Morocco". The reason for this is the purported disposition of its inhabitants. Being much less popular and more remote than the perennial favourite of Toubkal National Park, this base for the M'goun treks is still relatively unspoiled. You will soon get infected by the ambience of the landscape and the people.
