5D Sarawak Lost World Adventure

Kampung Semban, set among the mountains, possesses the mystical charms of a lost world. The village is home to the last generation of the "Ring Ladies". These Bidayuh women wear copper rings on their arms and legs as a sign of beauty and status. Today, there are only 7 of them left, as these rings are being gradually replaced by bracelets and anklets by the younger generations. Located 42km from Kuching, the access to the village is a challenging 5 hours trek through lush tropical rainforest, waterfalls and suspended bamboo bridges.

Day 1

Upon arrival in Kuching International Airport, take a tour around the quaint city before checking into the hotel.

Day 2-4

Begin a 3D/2N visit to Kampung Semban with a 1.5 hours drive from Kuching and a 5 hours trek through lush tropical rainforest and several suspended bamboo bridges to reach the village where the hospitable Bidayuh villagers will greet you with a sumptious traditional Bidayu dinner. For the next 2 days, go back in time and experience waking up to the crows of roosters and the sounds of the surrounding jungle, spend time with the Bidayuh and learn about their basic yet traditionally rich ways of life, meet the Ring Ladies and hear their fascinating life stories, enjoy the refreshing and cool mountain air, take a walk to view spectacular sunrise and swim in a waterfall.

Day 5

Free and easy after breakfast. Transfer to Kuching International Airport for flight home
