Gopeng is a small town located about 18km south of Ipoh and 16km north of Kampar in Perak of Malaysia. This area, with its famous limestone karsts and wild rivers amidst pristine jungle, is the mecca of adventure in Peninsular Malaysia.
Trekking into the forests, you will find unique sightings of the world's largest flower, the rare Rafflesia flower, the beautiful Rajah Brooke butterflies, the giant stick insect, wild animals like slow loris, civet cats, sun bear, and many others. Indulge in adventurous activities like white-water rafting and caving. Or simply visit the local villages and learn their simple way of life.

Day 1
Fly into LCCT Airport in Kuala Lumpur and transfer by private van/bus to Gopeng. Check into the eco camp resort and have lunch. Afternoon activity of white-water rafting to get into the rhythm of things. After a steamboat dinner, go for a jungle night walk to appreciate the creatures of the night.
Day 2
In the morning, take a hike in search of the Rafflesia, the largest flower in the world, led by a native Orang Asli guide. After lunch, explore the cave at Gua Tempurung. Tonight, enjoy a barbeque dinner outdoors.
Day 3
After breakfast, go for a short hike to a waterfall. Returning for lunch, pack up and check out. Transfer to LCCT Airport in KL for flight back to Singapore.

International Transfer:
It is possible to travel from Singapore to Gopeng via land transfer. However, considering that the journey each way takes around 7 hours, we're recommending travel by flight from Singapore to KL and land transfer from KL to Gopeng. This arrangement makes the journey less exhausting for young children.
Flight advise
The drive from KL to Gopeng takes around 2 to 3 hours each way, depending on traffic conditions. For the flight arrangement, it is advisable to arrive in KL latest by 10am to be able to reach the eco camp resort in Gopeng for lunch and afternoon activity. For the flight departure to Singapore, it is any flight from 7pm onwards. The target time to leave Gopeng on the last day is latest by 1pm.
