Gunung Panti (GCS trek)

Gunung Panti Recreational Forest, situated in north of Kota Tinggi in Johor, is a protected secondary forest. The forest has a hiking trail leading to the highest point at 513m. This trek starts off on the west of Panti by way of crossing a stream in the beginning and travels up along the ridgeline through the lush forest to reach the top. As a general guide, this trek takes about 2 to 3 hours to reach the top and about the same hours to descend.

Gunung Panti is one of our selected destinations in Malaysia for our GCS for its proximity to Singapore, the trek duration and the terrain. While the trek is short, the trail is mostly uphill with a climb up a rock cliff, providing the terrain challenges not available at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.

We subscribe to the basic philosophy that no one should have a bad time in the outdoors. Since most of our adventure programmes require a basic level of physical fitness, we have brought it upon ourselves to encourage our trip participants to tune up their fitness levels with us in our Group Conditioning Sessions (GCS) before their trip departure. Carried out locally twice a month, mainly in Bukit Timah Nature Reserve area, GCS is a complimentary programme that is unique to Adventure Quests. To expand the training ground for GCS, we are now bringing it across the causeway.
